In a disturbing turn of events, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office is searching for a suspect accused of running over a woman and two children during an altercation in Augusta, Georgia. The incident, which occurred on October 2nd, has left the victims with severe injuries, and authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could aid in the investigation.

Suspect Sought in Violent Vehicular Attack

Altercation Escalates into Vehicular Assault

According to the authorities, the incident took place in the 1500 block of Wooten Road around 6:10 p.m. on October 2nd. A witness reported seeing a sedan with two female occupants arrive at the location, one of whom has been identified as 30-year-old Nina Demmons. Demmons and a 17-year-old female suspect exited the vehicle and engaged in a physical altercation with a 39-year-old woman who was accompanied by a 16-year-old and a 6-year-old.The suspects then re-entered the vehicle and, in a shocking turn of events, "intentionally ran over" the 39-year-old woman and both children, according to the deputies' report. The vehicle then fled the scene, traveling southbound on Wooten Road toward 15th Street.

Victims Suffer Severe Injuries

The victims of this horrific incident suffered "severe injuries," as described in the deputies' report. The extent of their injuries and their current medical conditions have not been disclosed, but the severity of the incident suggests that the victims may be facing a long and difficult recovery process.

Suspect Identified and Sought by Authorities

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has identified Nina Demmons as the primary suspect in this case. Demmons is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds.
